Foreign delegates overwhelmed with the grandeur of the Vidhan Sabha and the monumental Imambara

Lucknow, October 25 : Over 300 renowned musicians from 27 countries of the world are here on invitation of City Montessori School, Lucknow, and today they were on a tour of the city admiring its marvels and rich history of Avadh. The grandeur of the Vidhan Sabha, the glorious Imambara and other monuments touched their hearts and they could not but pour out profuse praises for these historical artifacts and age-old buildings. All day, they were seen shooting pictures, taking selfies and sightseeing in the state capital. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma explained that these musicians will be presenting Carl Orff’s famous international musical orchestra, ‘Carmina Burana’ at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium on 28 October 2023 at 6.00pm and enthrall Lucknowites with the magic of their world famous western musical recitals-both vocal and instrumental. The musical extravaganza is being organized under the joint aegis of India National Youth Orchestra, Philharmonic Vienna Orchestra, Austria, Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM), London and City Montessori School, Lucknow. Mr Sharma said these music artistes went on a historical tour of the city of Lucknow and visited the Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara and other historical monuments and also tasted the unique Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb of this ancient city.
